Cookie Policy
Cotnek Technologies · Last updated: 27 October 2026
1. About this policy
This policy explains how Cotnek Technologies uses cookies and similar browser storage on cotnek.com and in the Cotnek app. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data.
2. What we use
We only use what is needed to run the Services. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, except the Meta Pixel on our sales page (cotnek.com/start), and only if you accept it there.
- Sign-in cookie (
token) — keeps you logged in to the app. Strictly necessary; secure, HTTP-only, expires after 7 days or when you log out. - Preferences (browser storage) — your language choice on our website, and small app conveniences such as a dismissed setup step. Stored only in your browser.
- Referral code (browser storage) — if you arrive through a customer's referral link, so the referral can be credited when you subscribe.
- Website chat (browser storage) — when you chat on a business's website that uses Cotnek, a random visitor ID keeps your conversation together. It does not identify you.
- Payment checkout — our payment processor sets its own strictly necessary cookies on its secure checkout page to process payments and prevent fraud.
- Analytics — only if you press Accept (Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Performance
Monitoring, cookies such as
_gaand browser storage) — tells us which pages and features are used, how fast pages load and when something breaks, so we can improve Cotnek. We do not send your name, email, phone number or anything you type; page addresses are sent without their query parts, and signed-in users are counted with a one-way scrambled ID. Advertising features and Google signals are switched off. If you press Decline, none of this loads. - Ad measurement — only on our sales page, and only if you press Accept there (Meta Pixel, cookies
such as
_fbp) — tells us whether our Facebook and Instagram ads bring visitors who start a trial, so we can spend on the ads that work. Meta receives the page address, your browser information and IP address, and the events we send (viewing the page, starting checkout, starting a trial or subscription, with the plan and its price). We do not send your name, email, phone number or anything you type, and automatic collection of button and form details is switched off. Meta may link this to your Facebook or Instagram account under Meta's Privacy Policy. If you press Decline, the pixel never loads.
3. Third-party content
Our pages load fonts and icon/chart libraries from third-party content delivery networks (such as Google Fonts and jsDelivr). When they load, those providers receive your IP address and browser information as part of the request. They do not set advertising cookies through our site.
4. Your choices
You can block or delete cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in cookie you will not be able to log in to the app; the public website will still work.
To change your analytics or ad-measurement choice, press and choose again.
5. Changes and contact
We will update this policy if we start using new types of cookies. Questions: support@cotnek.com.
